As you go about using the internet to look for a home keep in mind that pretty much all of what you are likely to see will be based on the information that the listing agent entered into the MLS. What you need is a good way to access that information.
Victors Realty recommends two ways to search for homes.
The quickest way is to search the MLS directly at MRMLS. This works well but it does not allow you to save searches.
If you want access to more detailed information and the ability to set more advanced search criteria the best alternative is to use Listingbook. One big benefit to using Listingbook is that you will get an e-mail whenever a new property is listed that meets your search critera. To access Listingbook you first need to set up a free account which you can do by clicking here. After you sign up you will be sent an e-mail from Listingbook which is used to confirm that there were no mistakes in entering your e-mail address. You need to open the e-mail and click on the link to verify your e-mail address. You will then get another e-mail with a log-in ID and password. The ID and password Listingbook sends you will probably be something hard to remember. You can change both the ID and password once you have logged into Listingbook.
